• Scan results, including estimated body fat percentage, calculated body composition values, scan date, height, and weight used for the scan.
• Photos submitted for analysis. Photos are sent for processing and are not stored in your scan history by BodyFat Scanner.
• Technical information such as app version, device information, logs, crash reports, and usage events where required to operate and improve the app.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide body composition estimates and scan results.
• Save and display your progress history.
• Operate accounts, authentication, and app features.
• Detect errors, improve stability, and maintain app security.

3. Photo Processing

When you start a scan, the selected photo may be sent to a cloud function and an AI service for analysis. The image is used to generate a result and is intended to be discarded after processing. Your scan history stores the result values, not the photo.

4. Third-Party Services

BodyFat Scanner may use third-party services to operate the app, including Firebase services for authentication, database, cloud functions, hosting, crash reporting, and analytics, as well as AI processing providers for image analysis. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment details are processed by the respective store provider. BodyFat Scanner receives information necessary to validate subscription status and provide premium features.

6. Data Retention

We keep account, profile, and scan result data for as long as needed to provide the app features or until you delete your account or request deletion, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

7. Your Choices

You may update profile data inside the app. You may also delete scan entries or request account deletion where supported by the app. If you subscribed through a store, subscription cancellation must be handled through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children's Privacy

BodyFat Scanner is not intended for children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Fitness and Medical Disclaimer

BodyFat Scanner provides estimates for fitness tracking. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional health advice.
