2. Scope

This policy applies to this website and to the "Body Fat Scanner" app. Processing in the app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) is additionally subject to their own privacy terms.

3. Visiting this website

The website is static and sets no tracking cookies. When accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server logs (e.g. page requested, time, shortened IP address, browser type) for secure operation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in stable, secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Using the app

In the app we process the photos you provide to estimate your body fat percentage, along with your inputs (e.g. weight, height) and the values and trends derived from them. The legal basis is performance of the user contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); where health-related data is involved, we rely on your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

5. Recipients and processors

We use carefully selected providers under data-processing agreements, including for hosting/infrastructure and app-store delivery.

6. Transfers to third countries

Where providers process data outside the EU/EEA, this is based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or required by law.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact office@aithentica.ai.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Austria, the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
